Business Development Executive – IT Services

About the Role
Rainstream Technologies is hiring a Business Development Executive with experience in IT sales and freelancing/bidding platforms. Candidates with strong knowledge of Upwork, Freelancer, AI tools, and software development services will be preferred.
Work Mode & Shift:
Currently, this position is Night Shift – Work From Home.
Based on performance and business requirements, the company may move the position to a Day Shift in the future.
If the shift is changed to Day Shift, the employee will be required to work from the Ahmedabad office.
Responsibilities
Generate qualified leads through Upwork, Freelancer, and other bidding platforms
Prepare and submit professional proposals based on client requirements
Communicate with international clients through English calls, emails, and chat
Identify new business opportunities for IT, AI, and software development services
Follow up with prospects and maintain regular communication
Use AI tools and modern technology for lead generation, research, proposals, and business development
Stay updated with new technologies and industry trends
Requirements
1–2 years of experience in BDE / IT Sales / Upwork or Freelancer Bidding
Strong knowledge of freelancing and bidding platforms
Excellent English communication and client-handling skills
IT/Software industry background preferred
Good understanding of AI tools and technology
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and willing to learn new technologies
Ahmedabad-based candidates will be preferred
