Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Manager who can manage our social media platforms, create engaging content, write compelling scripts for short-form videos and improve our brand's online presence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and grow the company's social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube.

2. Create and execute social media content calendars, campaigns and posting schedules.

3. Content Writing: Write engaging captions, creative posts, promotional content, blogs and social media copies.

4. Script Writing: Develop creative and engaging scripts for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other short-form videos.

5. Plan, create and publish reels, shorts, stories, carousels and other social media content.

6. Research trending topics, hashtags, audio and content formats relevant to the brand.

7. Monitor social media performance, analyse engagement and prepare monthly performance reports.

8. Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors and marketing teams to execute content strategies.

9. Identify opportunities to improve brand awareness, audience engagement and lead generation.

10. Stay updated with the latest social media trends, platform algorithms and digital marketing practices.

Required Skills

• Good content writing and creative writing skills.

• Strong script-writing skills for Reels and YouTube Shorts.

• Knowledge of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube.

• Understanding of social media trends, hashtags and audience engagement.

• Basic knowledge of Canva and video editing tools.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Creative thinking and ability to generate fresh content ideas.

Preferred Candidate

• 6 months – 1 year of relevant experience.

• Candidates with experience in EdTech or digital marketing agencies are preferred.

• Must be creative, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Candidates should have a portfolio or samples of previous content and scripts.
