Job Summary

Raigad Steel Roll Forms is seeking an experienced Factory General Manager to lead and oversee the complete manufacturing operations of its PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) and Structural Steel fabrication facility. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in factory management, production planning, fabrication processes, quality control, maintenance, and team leadership, with a deep understanding of PEB structures and steel manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations Management

• Manage end-to-end factory operations, including fabrication, welding, painting, dispatch, and installation support.
• Develop and implement production plans to achieve business and delivery targets.
• Monitor production efficiency, machine utilization, and workforce productivity.
• Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.

PEB & Structural Steel Expertise

• Oversee manufacturing of PEB structures, heavy steel structures, beams, columns, rafters, purlins, and related components.
• Review fabrication drawings, BOMs, shop drawings, and production schedules.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, project, and erection teams.
• Ensure compliance with structural specifications and customer requirements.

Quality & Process Control

• Implement quality assurance systems and manufacturing best practices.
• Monitor welding, fabrication, painting, and assembly quality.
• Reduce rework, material wastage, and production losses.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and company procedures.

Maintenance & Safety

• Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Ensure machinery and equipment operate efficiently.
• Enforce safety standards, housekeeping, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct regular safety audits and corrective actions.

Team Management

• Lead production, quality, maintenance, stores, dispatch, and fabrication teams.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate departmental personnel.
• Build a performance-driven culture focused on productivity and accountability.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of PEB Manufacturing and Structural Steel Fabrication.
• Expertise in factory operations, production planning, and process improvement.
• Knowledge of welding, fabrication, CNC operations, painting, and dispatch processes.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and fabrication details.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in manpower planning and team management.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
• MBA Operations will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 15+ Years of experience in Steel Structures, PEB Manufacturing, Heavy Fabrication, or Engineering Industries.
• Minimum 5 Years in a senior factory leadership role.
