Job Description

Octopus Technology is seeking skilled MERN Stack Developers to join our growing team in Surat. The ideal candidate should have 1.5 to 2 years of relevant experience in developing scalable and maintainable web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack. The candidate must be proficient in English communication to ensure smooth collaboration within our global team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices.
• Participate in the entire application development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and backend developers.
• Ensure responsiveness and performance optimization of applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize functionality and performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degreeBachelors degree in computer science
• 1.5 to 2 years of proven experience as a MERN Stack Developer or a similar role.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, and Express.js.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of state management libraries like Redux.
• Strong grasp of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
