Business Analyst (Pre/Post Sales)

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Business Analyst (BA) who can handle client communication, requirement gathering, documentation, workflow planning, and project coordination for both pre-sales and post-sales cycles. The ideal candidate should be proactive, well-organized, and comfortable interacting with global clients.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and prepare project scope, SRS, BRD, and wireframes.

• Participate in client meetings, demos, and requirement sessions.

• Prepare proposal documents, costing sheets, and work breakdown structures.

• Collaborate with the technical team to prepare solution architecture and timelines.

• Support the sales team with functional presentations and documentation.

• Assist in RFP/RFQ responses and prepare polished client documentation.

Post-Sales Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact between client and the development team.

• Track project activities and ensure smooth workflow within deadlines.

• Maintain Jira/Trello/ClickUp or any project management tool.

• Conduct UAT sessions, gather feedback, and prepare change logs.

• Ensure clear communication of updates to the client regularly.

• Assist in project delivery, testing support, and final handover.

• Coordinate with QA teams for test planning and issue resolution.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of IT services, e-commerce, CRM/ERP, web & mobile app development.

• Excellent communication skills—verbal & written.

• Ability to create SRS, BRD, FRD, user stories, flow charts, and wireframes.

• Knowledge of basic API concepts, frontend/backend workflows, and databases.

• Experience with tools like Figma, Lucidchart, Jira, Trello, ClickUp, MS Office, CRM tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to multitask and handle multiple clients/projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT/Computer Science/MBA or related field.

• 1–4 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis.

• Experience working in an IT Services company is a plus.
