Design engineer

Reidius Engitech Private Limited is looking for an experienced and innovative Design Engineer with strong expertise in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for pre-engineered building (PEB) projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing design concepts and detailed engineering drawings and coordinating with production and project teams for successful project execution. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop material handling systems such as conveyors, lifters, manipulators, and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) as per customer requirements. • Prepare 2D/3D models, detailed engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using CAD software like AutoCAD and SolidWorks. • Collaborate with production, purchase, quality, and project teams for smooth project execution and timely delivery. • Perform engineering calculations and structural analysis manually and using FEA tools to validate designs. • Develop fabrication drawings for fixtures, tools, pallets, racks, tanks, and structural components using materials like MS, SS, GI, and CS. • Contribute to assembly shop solutions, including jig & fixture development, poka-yoke systems, sub-assembly tables, and utility layouts. • Optimise designs for manufacturability, quality, safety, and cost efficiency. • Participate in design reviews, prototype testing, simulations, verification, and validation activities. • Maintain proper design documentation and ensure compliance with ISO and industry standards. • Coordinate with clients to understand technical requirements and implement customised engineering solutions.
