Job Description – Business Development Executive (BDE)

Company: ProMunim of India

Location: Pune / Onsite

Experience: 1 to 3 Years

Industry: Accounting, Finance, Compliance, Professional Services

Role Purpose

The Business Development Executive (BDE) will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, acquiring clients, and contributing to revenue growth for ProMunim of India by selling accounting, taxation, compliance, payroll, and allied professional services.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

 Generate leads through cold calling, emails, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking

 Identify potential SMEs, startups, and corporate clients

 Qualify leads based on business needs and decision-making authority

 Maintain daily lead generation targets

Sales & Client Acquisition

 Present ProMunim’s services to prospective clients

 Understand client requirements and propose suitable solutions

 Schedule meetings, demos, and discussions with prospects

 Follow up consistently and convert leads into clients

 Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

Client Coordination

 Coordinate with internal teams for proposals and onboarding

 Ensure smooth handover after client conversion

 Build initial relationships to ensure client satisfaction

Reporting & CRM Management

 Update leads, follow-ups, and closures in CRM

 Maintain accurate daily and weekly sales reports

 Track conversion ratios and sales pipeline

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

 Number of qualified leads generated

 Number of client meetings scheduled

 Conversion ratio (Lead to Client)

 Revenue achieved vs target

 Follow-up discipline and CRM accuracy

Required Skills & Competencies

Must-Have

 1–3 years of experience in target-based B2B sales

 Strong communication and persuasion skills

 Confidence in cold calling and lead follow-ups

 Willingness to work with targets and incentives

 Basic understanding of professional or service-based selling

Preferred

 Exposure to accounting, finance, CA firms, or compliance services

 Experience in selling services rather than products

 Familiarity with CRM tools

Education

 Graduate in any discipline

 MBA (Sales/Marketing) preferred but not mandatory
