Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead and deliver software development projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with hands-on development experience, combined with proven project management expertise. This role requires someone who can bridge the gap between technical teams and stakeholders while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Callyzer is a B2B Call Monitoring and Lead Management Software that helps businesses efficiently monitor and manage their sales and marketing teams. It enables organizations to track the number of calls made by each team member, including incoming, outgoing, missed, and rejected calls, ensuring complete visibility and performance control. Operating under Webs Optimizations Software Solutions since 2021, Callyzer has rapidly grown to serve 2,000+ clients, with more than 25,000 employees worldwide using the software. Our key customers include Pristyn Care, Tata Capital, Cars24, WheelEye, and Motilal Oswal.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation through deployment and post-launch support
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA engineers, DevOps, and business analysts
• Implement and manage Agile/Scrum methodologies or other project management frameworks as appropriate

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

• Leverage technical development background to effectively communicate with engineering teams and understand technical challenges
• Review technical architecture, design decisions, and implementation approaches to ensure alignment with project goals
• Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making processes between development teams and stakeholders
• Identify technical dependencies, bottlenecks, and risks, working proactively to resolve them

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, senior management, and internal teams regarding project status
• Conduct regular status meetings, progress reviews, and retrospectives with all project stakeholders
• Translate technical concepts into business language for non-technical stakeholders
• Manage expectations, negotiate scope changes, and ensure alignment between business requirements and technical delivery

Quality Assurance & Risk Management

• Ensure adherence to quality standards, coding best practices, and development processes
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on timelines and deliverables
• Monitor project metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators to track progress and identify improvement opportunities
• Implement change control processes and manage scope creep effectively

Resource & Budget Management

• Allocate resources efficiently across multiple projects and prioritize work based on business value
• Track project budgets, expenses, and resource utilization to ensure financial objectives are met
• Identify resource constraints and work with leadership to address capacity planning needs

Required Qualifications Experience

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on software development experience (as a developer, software engineer, or similar technical role)
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in software development or technology projects
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall)
• Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Asana, Azure DevOps, Trello, Monday.com, etc.)
• Familiarity with modern development technologies, frameworks, and platforms
• Understanding of version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of software architecture patterns, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar certifications
• Experience with enterprise-level software projects or SaaS product development
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and user-centered design processes
• Experience with remote or distributed team management
• Familiarity with business intelligence, data analytics, or reporting tools
