We are looking for a highly skilled ASO/SEO Executive with a strong focus on App Store Optimization (ASO) to join our growth and marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving app visibility, increasing organic installs, and optimizing conversion rates across the App Store and Google Play Store. Secondary responsibilities include supporting SEO initiatives for web properties.
Key Responsibilities
1. App Store Optimization
Conduct keyword research for App Store and Google Play to identify high-impact ranking opportunities.
Optimize app metadata including titles, subtitles, short descriptions, long descriptions, and keywords.
Manage and optimize app creatives (icons, screenshots, promo videos, feature graphics) to improve CVR.
Track rankings, conversion rates, keyword performance, competitor activity, and store trends.
Run A/B tests for app creatives and metadata to maximize organic growth.
Collaborate with design, product, and marketing teams for creative and content updates.
Monitor user reviews and ratings; coordinate with internal teams to improve user sentiment.
Analyze retention, cohort performance, and install sources to support growth strategy.
2. Search Engine Optimization
Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
Assist in optimizing website on-page elements: meta tags, content structure, internal linking.
Support link-building strategies and outreach efforts.
Monitor website traffic, rankings, and SEO performance using analytics tools.
Requirements
Proven experience in ASO, with visible results (portfolio/case studies preferred).
Strong understanding of app store algorithms, ranking factors, and industry best practices.
Experience with ASO tools such as AppTweak, Sensor Tower, MobileAction, AppRadar, or equivalent.
Knowledge of SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.).
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with design, content, and product teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on apps with large user bases or competitive categories.
Understanding of mobile marketing, user acquisition (UA), and growth strategies.
