Job Description:

Job Title: Software Development Engineer 

 Location: Remote.

Experience: 3+ Years

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Front-End Developer to join our team at Unify for an exciting project for a FAANG company. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in front-end technologies with a particular emphasis on HTML, JavaScript, and React.

 Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and optimize front-end interfaces using React for a data annotation platform. - Integrate real-time streamed video data into UI components, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. 

- Implement OCR (Optical Character Recognition) processing in JavaScript for real-time data extraction and storage. - Develop interactive data visualization components to improve the annotation and collection process. 

- Collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers, backend developers, and UX designers to ensure seamless workflow integration. - Optimize front-end performance for handling large-scale video data and high-frequency annotations. 

- Ensure security, accessibility, and compliance with best practices for web applications.

 Requirements:

 - Strong proficiency in JavaScript & React.js with hands-on experience in modern UI development. 

- Experience working with real-time data streams, WebSockets, or WebRTC. 

- Proficiency in OCR integration in JavaScript (e.g., Tesseract.js or other libraries). 

- Knowledge of video processing and handling streamed video content on the front end.

 - Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Recoil, or Context API). 

- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or WebSockets for data interaction. 

- Solid understanding of responsive design, performance optimization, and UI/UX principles.

 - Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus. 

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 

- Experience in writing reusable and high-performance user interface components 

- Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques 

- Experience in performance debugging and benchmarking 

Nice to Have: 

-Experience with AI/ML-driven UI applications. 

- Background in computer vision, OCR optimization, or deep learning visualization. 

- Familiarity with TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, or Next.js for scalable React applications.

Preference for candidates able to overlap with US working hours, with some overlap with West Coast USA preferred.
