Job description Job Responsibilities: Work on enhancing and adding functionality to support and classify user-centric ratings, endorsements, and recommendations across a range of content types Develop, test, and refine APIs to increase the websites search engine functionality and produce accurate and efficient search results Evaluate and categorize an extensive array of search results, keeping in mind the need to deliver an exceptional user experience Utilize already-existing APIs to enable the website to utilize its own engines, fill the results to allow searches to appear, and then make minor adjustments to the results Vet and rank all possible search categories Use careful data management and online scraping strategies to curate and improve content, particularly for academic journals Initiate development endeavors by devising automated procedures and upholding sturdy API integrations that facilitate the expansion and improvement of features Utilize the API to obtain suggestions and add additional ratings, classifications, and other details, such as if the journal is approved or recommended by other organizations Job Requirements: Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience) At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a Web Developer Demonstrable experience working on web development Extensive knowledge of web scraping and API integration Prior expertise with SQL, JavaScript, and handling data feeds for journals across international borders Proficiency in SQL and the ability to oversee intricate data streams in multilingual and global environments Nice to have an in-depth understanding of other technologies and methodologies, such as data analysis and search engine optimization Outstanding communication abilities to work well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Fluent in spoken and written English Role: Back End Developer Industry Type: IT Services & Consulting Department: Engineering - Software & QA Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Software Development Education UG: Any Graduate PG: Any Postgraduate read more Key Skills Data analysisWeb technologiesData managementWeb developmentJavascriptSearch engine optimizationSQLTesting
