Senior Back-End Web Developer

Job description Comply with all relevant company policies, procedures, and patient protocols, as well as all current government regulations and professional standards pertaining to patient care Work closely with key personnel to understand the company's short and long-term strategies Responsible for the API's installation, configuration, requirement gathering, application design, documentation, testing, and end-user support (both internal and external) Assist with integration testing, logging, and reporting Assist in the management of third-party API integrations, particularly Twilio Create a strong and secure API to power the web application API versioning, security, and data protection should all be implemented Create and maintain documentation for both existing and new platforms Assist Front-End developers, analysts, and designers in developing and validating API requirements Create new requirements in order to improve technical functionality and information flow Assist QA efforts on tasks completed by providing input for test cases and assisting with test case execution Directly support business users by designing and developing customer training materials and conducting customer training sessions Work to ensure that changes are documented, communicated, audited, and deployed in accordance with established policies and procedures Participate in technical support to resolve business issues and documents The ability to learn our domain knowledge and staff processes in order to maximize company efficiencies Job Requirements: Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience) At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a web developer Experience with REST-based APIs that adhere to current standards and make use of proper HTTP verbs, etc Extensive experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) e.g., unit testing Experienced in Microsoft SQL Server development, including data modeling, concurrency, and stored procedures Expertise in design patterns such as Object-Oriented and Service-Oriented Understanding of JWT authentication Knowledge of GIT, source control versioning, and Continuous Integration (CI) Experience with advanced data analysis, data architecture, and data modeling, as well as familiarity with data modeling design tools Advanced knowledge of the applicable data privacy laws is required Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment, and manage workload prioritization in order to deliver high-quality work products on time with little supervision Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent critical thinking abilities, including the potential to establish whole new problem-solving approaches and generate novel solutions Excellent collaboration skills, including the ability to resolve disagreements and work with a distributed team Experience with system implementation is strongly preferred Excellent communication and presentation abilities Outstanding analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities Provide excellent customer service that is courteous both internally and externally Prolific System expertise with Brightree, S3, and other needed software applications Enjoy assisting other internal and external team members Exceptional attention to detail All employees benefit from the positive influence Capable of managing multiple priorities and closing the loop when it is interrupted Knowledge of C#.NET is required Knowledge of REST and HTTP verbs is required Understanding of integrating third-party APIs into web applications and the ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests Knowledge of and experience with the Git code versioning tool Understanding of the fundamental design principles underlying scalable applications Role: Back End Developer Industry Type: IT Services & Consulting Department: Engineering - Software & QA Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Software Development Education UG: Any Graduate PG: Any Postgraduate read more Key Skills Data analysisFront endData modelingHTTPStored proceduresTest casesCustomer serviceUnit testingTechnical support
