Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead (Java) with 10+ years of experience to drive core backend development and lead an engineering team. The ideal candidate combines deep, end-to-end coding ownership with proven mentorship and team-leading capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, design, and deliver mission-critical backend components using modern Java and distributed systems.

Lead, mentor, and guide junior and mid-level engineers through technical challenges, code reviews, and architectural decisions.

Troubleshoot complex production issues, debug performance bottlenecks, and maintain robust coding standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

JVM Internals (Metaspace, GC, Memory Management)

Hands-on

Practical experience tuning JVM memory, profiling bottlenecks, and resolving production memory leaks/crashes.

Distributed Messaging (Apache Kafka)

Hands-on

Implementation of event-driven architectures, partition strategies, and handling production messaging pipelines.

Frameworks (Spring Boot, JPA / Hibernate)

Hands-on

Deep working knowledge of Spring internals, transaction management, connection pooling, and ORM query tuning.
