Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) Developer / Lead with strong hands-on expertise in designing, configuring, and implementing personalized, real-time, omnichannel customer journeys.

The candidate will work with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) to build customer journeys, campaigns, audience segments, personalization, and messaging solutions. The role will involve collaboration with business, marketing, technical, and development teams to deliver scalable customer engagement solutions.

For Lead-level candidates, the role will additionally involve technical guidance, solution ownership, code/configuration reviews, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, and maintain customer journeys using Adobe Journey Optimizer.
Build journeys based on events, conditions, audiences, profiles, business rules, and customer attributes.
Configure and manage AJO campaigns, personalization, messaging, and journey orchestration.
Work with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) for customer profiles, events, schemas, datasets, identities, and audiences.
Create, configure, and manage audience segments and targeting rules.
Implement personalized and real-time customer engagement use cases across supported channels.
Configure integrations between AJO, AEP, and external/enterprise systems.
Work with APIs and integration mechanisms to exchange customer and event data.
Troubleshoot and resolve journey, campaign, data, audience, and integration issues.
Participate in functional testing, technical testing, deployment, release, and production support.
Analyze business and marketing requirements and translate them into AJO technical solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, marketing teams, architects, developers, QA teams, and other technical teams.
Document journey configurations, audience logic, integrations, and technical solutions.

For Lead-level candidates:
Provide technical guidance to AJO developers.
Review journey designs and configurations.
Mentor junior developers.
Support solution design and technical decision-making.
Coordinate technical delivery across the team.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work effectively with distributed/remote teams.
Lead-level candidates should have experience mentoring
