Node . Js Developer

We are looking for a Node.JS Web Application Developer responsible for developing REST APIs. Primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

• Developing Node.JS based backend applications
• Delivering well written REST APIs: API Definitions, end-to-end service design and implementation
• Writing good quality, modular, reusable, performant, well documented, unit-tested code

Mandatory Skills

• Strong skills in Node.JS, with good knowledge of Express Framework
• Good understanding of server-side templating languages (such as Jade or EJS)
• Good Understanding of differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimising output to match the specific platform
• Strong coding/programming application development experience
• Excellent problem solving abilities. Very good HackerRank/HackerEarth score will be a plus
• Good knowledge of working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
• Professional, precise communication skills
• Working knowledge of Git

Optional Skills

• Knowledge of working with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of any ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries that works with NodeJS
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Knowledge of working with cloud environments such as AWS
• Knowledge of DevOps tools practices
