Job Description

1. Identify and source suppliers of raw materials, chemicals, and equipment needed for chemical manufacturing processes.
2. Evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate contracts, and establish terms and conditions for procurement.
3. Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of materials to make informed purchasing decisions.
4. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand material requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods.
5. Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
6. Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders, deliveries, or quality of materials.
7. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards in all procurement activities.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize procurement processes and achieve cost savings.

Qualifications :

1.Bachelordegree in chemical engineering or related field.
2. Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management in the chemical industry.
3. Knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, raw materials, and industry suppliers.
4. Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with suppliers.
5.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6.Proficiency in using procurement software and tools for sourcing and contract management.
7.Good communication and interpersonal skills.
8.Understanding of quality control standards and regulatory requirements in the chemical industry.
