Summary:
The Manager – Quality oversees all quality initiatives of the hospital, ensures continuous compliance with NABH standards, and drives process improvement across clinical and non-clinical departments. The role requires strong knowledge of healthcare quality frameworks, audits, patient safety, and statutory requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Implement and maintain NABH standards across all departments.
• Conduct internal audits, gap assessments, and corrective action follow-ups.
• Develop and update SOPs, policies, and clinical protocols as per quality requirements.
• Monitor clinical indicators, patient safety indicators, and quality dashboards.
• Lead quality improvement programs, root cause analysis (RCA), and PDSA cycles.
• Coordinate external audits, accreditation visits, and documentation readiness.
• Conduct quality training for doctors, nurses, and staff.
• Track incident reporting, medication errors, near misses, and grievance redressal.
• Ensure compliance with statutory norms (Biomedical Waste, Fire Safety, Infection Control).
• Work closely with departments to streamline workflows and improve patient experience.
Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, Nursing, or related field.
• Certification in NABH or experience handling accreditation processes preferred.
• 4–8 years of experience in hospital quality or accreditation.
Skills Needed:
• Strong understanding of NABH standards and hospital quality systems.
• Excellent documentation and audit skills.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare quality MIS reports.
• Good communication, training, and coordination abilities.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
