Senior PHP Developer

We are looking for a talented and driven PHP Developer with WordPress experience to join our development team. Job Responsibilities: PHP Development: Write clean, scalable, and efficient PHP code to build dynamic web applications and server-side functionality. WordPress Development: Customize, design, and develop WordPress themes, plugins, and modules based on project requirements. Website Maintenance: Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing WordPress websites and PHP applications. Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of WordPress sites and custom PHP applications. Database Management: Optimize databases for performance, including MySQL, and ensure data integrity. Code Review: Ensure code quality by reviewing other team members’ code and providing feedback on best practices. Testing & Debugging: Identify bugs, fix issues, and ensure cross-browser and device compatibility. Performance Optimization: Optimize websites and applications for speed, scalability, and SEO. Documentation: Document code, workflows, and processes for easy reference. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong experience in PHP development and object-oriented programming (OOP). Proficiency in WordPress, including theme and plugin development, customization, and optimization. In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for front-end development. Experience with MySQL databases and proficiency in writing queries. Familiarity with version control tools like Git. Strong understanding of website security practices and WordPress security. Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and a passion for writing clean, high-quality code. Preferred Skills: Experience with modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.). Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services. Familiarity with tools such as Composer and npm. Experience in implementing and customizing WooCommerce. Knowledge of SEO best practices and web performance optimization techniques. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
