Senior AI Engineer – Agentic Commerce

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer – Agentic Commerce to build next-generation AI-powered commerce solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI Agents. The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering fundamentals and proven experience delivering production-grade AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop intelligent AI agents for commerce and enterprise use cases.
• Build production-grade Agentic AI systems using LLMs and modern AI frameworks.
• Architect and implement multi-agent workflows and autonomous decision-making systems.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs supporting AI-driven applications.
• Integrate LLMs into business processes, customer journeys, and commerce platforms.
• Optimize model performance, latency, reliability, and cost.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define AI-driven solutions.
• Establish best practices for deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and governance of AI systems.

Required Skills

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and system design expertise.
• Hands-on experience delivering LLM-powered applications to production.
• Experience building Agentic AI solutions and AI agents.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
• Knowledge of modern AI frameworks such as:
• LangChain
• LangGraph
• AutoGen
• CrewAI
• Experience integrating foundation models from:
• OpenAI
• Anthropic
• Google
• Open-source model ecosystems
• Strong understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with monitoring, evaluation, and observability of AI systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Commerce, Retail, Customer Experience, or Digital Transformation domains.
• Exposure to MCP (Model Context Protocol) and Context Engineering.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI governance, security, and responsible AI practices.

Experience Requirements

• 4–8+ years of overall software engineering experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Agentic AI and LLM-based systems.
• Proven track record of taking AI products from prototype to production.
