We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Manager to join our team at a leading fish processing plant. Responsibilities: Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the plants operational goals
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to address workforce needs and develop solutions

Employee Engagement and Culture Building:

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, wellness activities, and communication strategies
  • Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes collaboration and high performance

Performance Management and Metrics:

  • Oversee the administration of performance management systems and ensure fair evaluation processes
  • Monitor HR metrics, such as turnover rates, absenteeism, and training effectiveness, and provide actionable insights

Compliance and Policy Development:

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and industry regulations
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices and organizational needs

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor the HR team to achieve departmental goals
  • Provide guidance on complex employee relations issues and conflict resolution

General Expectations of Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager in the food processing or manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools for payroll, performance management, and recruitment
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a plant environment, including occasional exposure to cold storage areas
  • Willingness to travel within the plant premises and attend off-site meetings as required
