Key Responsibilities:
- Perform keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest, etc.
- Optimize website content (on-page SEO) including meta tags, headings, URLs, and internal linking
- Assist in off-page SEO activities such as backlink building, directory submissions, and social bookmarking
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Conduct basic website audits and identify SEO issues
- Collaborate with content and design teams for SEO-friendly content
- Track and report SEO performance metrics
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and search engine algorithms
Required Skills:
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts (on-page & off-page)
- Knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
- Familiarity with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs – basic level)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS (preferred but not mandatory)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Certification in Digital Marketing/SEO (preferred)
