Overview

Message Magic Media is seeking an experienced Php WordPress Developer with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in WordPress, WooCommerce, and PHP.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in theme customization, building themes from scratch based on UI designs, and customizing and developing WordPress plugins.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain back-end components for various static and dynamic websites and portals using WordPress.
• Create and enhance WooCommerce-based e-commerce themes.
• Develop WordPress plugins using PHP and PHP MVC frameworks.
• Provide technical solutions to address various business challenges through the use of WordPress and WooCommerce.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Collaborate with clients to provide project updates, clarify requirements, and ensure alignment with their needs.
• Maintain and update existing websites.

Required Backend Skills:

• Proficiency in MySQL, including Joins, SubQueries, and Aliasing.
• Deep understanding of WordPress template hierarchy, hooks, actions, and WooCommerce theme development.
• Strong knowledge of Core PHP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in WordPress, WooCommerce, and PHP.
2. Proven experience in theme customization and building themes from scratch based on UI designs.
3. Expertise in WordPress plugin installation, customization, and development.
4. Experience with payment gateway, shipping, and tax integration for WooCommerce-based e-commerce websites.
5. Strong knowledge of PHP, MVC frameworks, WordPress, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax.
6. Educational qualifications include a Diploma, B.E./B.Tech. in any specialization, or M.C.A.
7. Demonstrated experience in independently developing at least 2-3 WordPress themes from scratch.
8. Strong understanding of WooCommerce hooks and performance optimization concepts in theme development.
