Backend :- Experience/Qualifications 5+ years of relevant experience Roles and Responsibilities Proficient understanding of enterprise architecture design principles and able to implement an application from scratch. Strong fundamentals in web programming/development languages including use of PHP and Experience with PHP debugging and testing. Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional cohesive codes to enhance the user experience. Complete understanding on how to work in an agile team and have the ownership to ensure that Web Chapter definition of ready and definition of done are fulfilled. Hands-on expert level technical skills required: Expert proficiency in PHP. Expert proficiency in web assembly Strong Highly familiar with Akamai as an CDN and the available optimisations such http2 http3 TTL etc Experience with relational databases (MySQL NoSQL etc) Shell scripting and web application server setup Strong understanding on Cloud Delivery Network (Akamai CloudFront). Solid understanding of protocols (HTTP HTTPs Sockets) Solid understanding of web application performance caching user experience optimisation CDN Excellent understanding of enterprise web application architecture and solution design Ability to test debug and solve any technical issues in any web application Code quality assurance and ability to adopt good design patterns into the application design Experienced working with NodeJS frameworks package manager and task runners (e.g. Grunt Gulp). Some exposure to Continuous Integration/Delivery pipeline such as Travis. A good understanding of code versioning tools such as Git Mercurial or SVN. Hands-on familiarity with content management system platforms such as WordPress. Understanding of OOP and Design Patterns a must. Good to have skills: Understanding of emerging asynchronous technologies such as Angular Backbone or React. Understanding of UX/UI principles with a high attention to details. Understanding of web standards such as WCAG 2.1 at AA Standards Knowledge on web analytics tools with ability to read into the data trends to identify UI optimisation Named Job Posting?
