Backend Developer (Sr web Developer)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend logic, APIs, and web services.

• Optimize SQL queries and database structures for performance and scalability.

• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code while following coding standards and best practices.

• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and troubleshooting production issues.

• Ensure application security, data protection, and backend architectural best practices.

• Work with caching, logging, and queue systems to improve application performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Provide regular updates and reports to the manager/team leader.

Required Skills & Technical Expertise :

• Strong understanding of OOP concepts, MVC architecture, components, modules, behaviors, and extensions.

• Excellent knowledge of MySQL, including indexes, joins, stored procedures, and query optimization.

• Basic understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms (JWT / OAuth), and API versioning.

• Knowledge of caching mechanisms, queues, background jobs, and scalability strategies.

• Hands-on experience with code versioning tools such as Git.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
