Job Description

You will be the PPC Head in the Gear Shop & Forging Industry, where your primary responsibility will be to oversee the production planning, scheduling, monitoring, and optimization of operations across various units. This role requires a minimum of 10-15 years of experience, with at least 5-7 years specifically in Gear Manufacturing & Forging industry. A B.Tech / BE degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is preferred for this position.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop master production schedules (MPS) based on customer orders, forecasts, and capacity for Gear cutting, Machining, Hobbing, Shaving, Grinding, Heat Treatment & Forging operations.
- Evaluate machine capacity, identify bottlenecks, and ensure manpower planning and shift scheduling.
- Coordinate with purchase for timely availability of raw material and maintain optimum inventory levels.
- Monitor daily production, quality standards, and efficiency KPIs, and drive improvements through Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
- Collaborate with Sales, Design, Quality, Purchase, and Manufacturing teams, and present monthly PPC metrics to management.
- Prepare MIS reports on production, capacity utilization, OEE, and delivery performance.

**Required Skills & Competencies:**

- Strong experience in Gear Manufacturing processes like Hobbing, Shaping, Shaving, Grinding, Heat treatment, Turning, Milling, Drilling.
- Knowledge of Forging industry processes including Drop forging / press forging, Die design, and Billet planning.
- Proficiency in PPC tools, MRP, ERP systems, Excel, scheduling software, and production tracking tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, leadership ability, and process excellence.

This role will suit individuals with a background in Gear manufacturing companies, Forging units supplying to OEMs / Tier-1 manufacturers, Precision machining, and heavy engineering industries.

The salary for this position ranges from 70,000.00 to 90,000.00 per month, with benefits including provided food. The work location is in person.
