Frontend developer

We are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer with hands-on experience in modern CSS and JavaScript frameworks. The ideal candidate will work primarily on Magento frontend development, including Hyvä theme customization and mobile-responsive designs. Additional experience in Shopware frontend customization is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain responsive and interactive frontend interfaces for Magento 2 stores using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and theme templating.
Customize and maintain Hyvä themes including working with Alpine.js for frontend interactivity.
Implement UI designs using modern CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS and CSS3.
Enhance frontend interactivity using JavaScript, jQuery, and headless JS frameworks like React.js or Vue.js (depending on project requirements).
Work on Magento layout XMLs, templates, and custom theme development or modification.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and mobile-first responsive design.
Collaborate with backend developers and designers to bridge the gap between design and technical implementation.
(Optional but preferred) Customize and develop frontend features for Shopware stores, including layout tweaks and styling enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of professional frontend development experience
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
Solid hands-on experience with Magento 2 frontend development
Experience customizing and building with the Hyvä theme
Knowledge of Alpine.js, HTMX, or other lightweight JS frameworks
Experience with Shopware 6 frontend development and template customization
Good understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development
Familiarity with tools such as SCSS/SASS, Tailwind CSS, Webpack, Git
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
