Next.js Backend Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Next.js Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in server-side development, API integrations, and database management, with a deep understanding of Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Next.js (API Routes) and Node.js.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for seamless data exchange.
• Work with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL) to design efficient schemas and queries.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices (JWT, OAuth, SSO).
• Optimize backend performance, caching strategies, and scalability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and DevOps teams for smooth deployment and integration.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing applications.
• Stay updated with best practices in server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and API handling.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 4+ years of backend development experience with Next.js and Node.js.

- Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, and API development.

- Experience with database management (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, or Firebase).

- Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT, SSO).

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Vercel, Firebase, or GCP) is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Familiarity with React.js (Nice to have).
