About Us

Job Summary:

The Desktop Engineer is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop computers, laptops, peripherals, and software within the organization. This role provides technical support to end-users, ensures system reliability, and helps maintain IT security and performance standards across all user devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access within Active Directory and related systems.
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and antivirus checks to maintain security compliance.
  • Configure and deploy operating systems and applications using imaging tools or manual setup.
  • Monitor IT assets, maintain inventory records, and assist in hardware/software procurement.
  • Support users via remote tools, phone, or onsite visits as needed.
  • Collaborate with network and system teams to resolve escalated technical issues.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, user guides, and support procedures.
  • Assist in onboarding/offboarding users and setting up new workstations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT desktop or technical support.
  • Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RDP).
  • Understanding of endpoint security tools and data protection practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or ITIL Foundation.
  • Experience with imaging and deployment tools (SCCM, Intune, or MDT).
  • Familiarity with macOS or Linux environments.
  • Exposure to ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, or Freshservice).
