Node Js Developer

Summary

We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer with over 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. You will communicate with clients during standups and demos as part of their offshore team, working closely with their developers to create seamless and robust applications.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Implement security and data protection measures
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team learning and improvement
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience as a Node.js Developer for at least 2 years
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript and Node.js frameworks like Express
• Experience with RESTful APIs and API integrations
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MongoDB and MySQL
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Experience with TypeScript
