Node Js developer

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with the development team to design and develop robust and scalable Node.js applications, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Take ownership of end-to-end application development, including requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following established coding guidelines.
Work closely with front-end developers and designers to integrate server-side logic with user interfaces, ensuring seamless user experiences
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced developers, assisting them in problem-solving and code reviews.
Conduct thorough testing of applications, including unit testing and integration testing, to ensure quality and reliability
Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and continuous integration of applications
Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning, task estimation, and daily stand-ups.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum of five years of professional experience in Node.js development.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and its ecosystem, including Node.js, Express.js, and NPM.
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
Solid understanding of databases (both SQL and NoSQL), database modelling, and query optimization.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS), SQS, Lambda,Kinesis and serverless architectures.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and scalability considerations in Node.js applications.
Experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
