In 1997, five visionary individuals came together with one mission: to harness open source software and data-driven solutions to strengthen the social development sector. This collaboration led to the creation of Child Info 1.0, which later evolved into the globally adopted DevInfo platform in 2004—a key milestone in building digital public goods for international development.
As DevInfo scaled to version 7.0, our work expanded globally—powering management information systems, supporting results-based monitoring, and building custom digital platforms for development agencies, NGOs, and UN organizations. With every release, we deepened our commitment to technology for development and expanded our reach through a distributed development team across continents.
